tell us your comments when you'll have it install...don't worry to ask question about installation if so..

It's not just like an intake...it's a MAFci system that control a perfect AFR line.

From everything I've read here, I'll see real improvements. Hopefully we can get a tranny shift fix for the '06 before then too, or it'll be a waste of $$.

Good plan! That's about 15 minutes and two busted knuckles easier than putting the airbox back in.

I've never had or noticed the backfire thing myself, but it's hard to believe it would run rich. The A/F map from the dyno's shows it running much leaner than stock at all times.

First yeah PXLpainter...it will be your best bet !!

I agree with Down2Thec...the module is made to get a leaner AFR thru the RPM. I know that my '06 tune is perfect. I know it from CP-e dyno...and from Dynojet dyno equipped with O2 sensor. It goes from 14.8 (low RPM) to 13 (high RPM).

Holy shiznit! I installed mine last night, and its awesome! I do feel a power increase, but I'm pissed because I don't have a stick shift! :( I'm shifting through the gears in my auto haha. Driving like normal, you really dont hear anything. Punch it and man! Jet engine! Very happy with it, and the install was soo easy. :D

Yea, I'm having to sport shift it now. Driving along at 45 in 2nd, punch it, I'm gone with a nice vapor trail left behind my rocket. 8) Now all I need is a shift kit, cause it sure shifts softly.

Yep I could easily go under 15 sec on quarter mile and going pretty near 100MPH with some stiffer shift. It must be costy to get and install (if it would exist !).

I would ask Josh to set some met and verify the AFR with their dyno.

So that's three of us (at least) who get some backfire... while it's really not that big of a deal, it may be worthwhile mentioning it now that we know we aren't alone.

ok i couldnt wait, i just got off the phone with josh, for anyone local we can just bring in our car and they will run a diagnostic on it and "try" to reproduce the problem if possible when there. but he said it wouldnt cost anything and if they can reproduce the problem he would like for us to keep the car their overnight. i just made a appointment to go there on the 8/26/06 on a saturday. if anyone has questions with backfiring PM me with your number or call josh at CP-E (410)-703-9365.

Good leadership man !!
At least you will be able to see your own AFR graph and see if you're perfect, lean or too rich !! Their dyno and O2 sensor they use are very precise !

I don't get how this can work with a supercharged solara. I'm just thinking of the way this works vs. my SAFC 2 and that alone is kind of mind boggling. If you wouldnt mind sienna, could you explain to me how it all factors in. Also, I have a local shop that i'm going to have my tuning done at, will they be able to tune this also? So far they're gonna tune me at 5.5 psi and run my safc2 a little bit rich, but i still need something to help me low end. From a roll I've been keeping up with modified v8's, but from a stop i've been gettin dusted. So can anyone help me out on that?
