Those honeycombs surround the foglights and mkae them look cheap.. IMHO.. This stuff is so subjective..guess that's why they make more than one color :)

I don't like the new grill, it reminds me of some old pickup truck. If your going to do mesh or honeycomb shape, you could do much better.

FYI-

I got a quote from the local Toyota dealer of $87.58 for the 2.5 grill, but he listed two part numbers, like this:

Part numbers 53111-06220 or 53111-06230(street package HID lights)

Has anyone seen two versions of the grill?

i havnt seen the 2.5 grill in person but from the pics i prefer my 04's grill over that, besides if i were gonna change the grill id pick chrome over black plastic anyday, and possible take the toyota logo from the grill to the hood

How about a very close shot where all you see in the photo is the grille so we can see what is in that horizontal gap in the middle. Also a very close shot of the fog light area to better see the plastic piece behind it. Thanks in advance.

Not a problem. But I would like someone to find out what the difference is between the two part numbers. If you find out, please enlighten.

ROFLOL!!! Damn that's it EXACTLY!!!

I'm hating the logo more and mor on my rear deck lid... wish I could afford a replacement to hack at and play around with removing the hump and filling the holes...

I'm also not a fan of the "Honeycomb" 2.5 grille.

It brings back scary images of my old girlfriends car in the late 70's!! :o
