GROUP BUY POSSIBLY for TRENZ Billet Grilles

Postby CosmicGrooves » Fri Mar 10, 2006 7:58 pm

It looks like the grill is kinda... cheap.

The upper grill looks like some of the lines are uneven.
The bottom looks like it's not in very well on the right side.

Is it just the pic or is that a problem?

I like the look, it just looks like the bars are somewhat bent on the upper grille in the pic and the bottom grill doesn't look like it's completely on.

I'm still interested in getting both and polished.

I've seen the top and bottom in person on a car. The top looked nice and fit well. The bottom one I saw fit badly. Looks like quality control problem.

the lines are not uneven,its a perfect straight line. There's a black line that goes straight down in the back of the grille, but not even noticable when driving or looking at it really on the car.When you get the grille you do have to bend it a little since our top grille is a bit curved.

I'm curious why approx 50% of people replying say the grilles are fugly??? Why do people think that and what are they using for grilles? I have Mike's and like them but am considering the billets, also. FUGLY is the factory grille...it is just out of place on this car and the sleek design.

I like all three grilles (Stock, Michael's and trenz)... They all have their proper mood. I'm going to have to research a quick release system for the upper and lower and just hang them all on the garage wall. "Hmmmm... fells like a billet day"

So are we close to a group buy number? Now that I know there's a lower, I'm ready to buy now. If we're talking $10 off the price I'll just buy them and make sure he counts me as part of the group buy so you guys get the numbers. If it's a real price break we're looking at, I'll wait a bit. But spring is just aroung the bend...

Sorry everyone, but looks like not enough interest to get a break on the costs for these. If anyone is interested in trying to get them on their own, visit Randy at http://www.radtoyscentral.com/

Just mention to him about the group buy grilles and that will let him know who you are. Hope this helps anyone that is interested in them. Might check out some of his other items. Bought several things from him and pricing was best I found on many.

Hi there. There aren't enough in stock for us to get the quantity discount, and even at that rate, it would have to be 15 of each. Anyways, here are the 2 part numbers to put into the SEARCH box in my store. 2305TFPP and 2737TFPP . Order one of each will get you the upper and lower grills. They are in stock and will be pulled and probably shipped the same day you pay for them. If you have any other needs, feel free to ask.
Thanks
Randy
RAD TOYS CENTRAL

Comes out to $520ish there. I've searched and found similar prices $500 - $540 shipped, with higher price and lower shipping, etc. Any recommendation or warnings for any of the following?

Can't comment on others, but can vouch for RadToys based on my experience. The guy lives and loves Cars and will work with you...great customer service and evertything as promised. If I wasn't confident in him, I wouldn't have tried to do this group buy.

Quick comparison between RADTOYS and WOODDASSH:
RADTOYS = $524 shipped
WOODDASH = $553 shipped

If you find a better price than Randy's, let him know and I'm sure he can match/beat it. Suggest you might want to negotiate shipping cost, as it seems a bit high. One of the things I've found that kills shipping costs is "SIGNATURE REQUIRED", because I'm told it's an extra and expensive fee.

Good luck and let us know how you make out.

I'll go with Rad then. At least I know it's in stock w/o a phone call.

If you're going to spray it, you can get brushed aluminum for about $90 cheaper. But Trenz puts them out in brushed or polished only.
