My opinion is that it would be messed up if his friend got him the kit for good graces and he just ended up selling it on him........thats like a slap in the face so to speak. Its not whether the bodykit looks fugly or not its the principle behind it.
I would suggest you to tell your friend to cancel the order on the bodykit before it comes in or return it when it does come in if there is no re-stocking fee because your happy with the way you car looks with the TRD kit.
If returning it is not an option for you I would just tell your buddy that the bodykit isn't needed and ask him if he would be madd if he sold it to a friend or outside buyer interested on the kit.
