Where did you get them and who made them?

Thanks for postin' pics btw, very helpful. So, you roll the windows down prior to closing/opening? When you took them off, did you have any paint damage from the area where the double-sided tape was?

I don't remember the original place I got them, but these are the same.

M- there where no paint damage after removal. I had the same visor on my Camry and paint was just fine.

They have vent visors that you put in the window channel (but i have not seen them made for the solara yet), I don't see how those ones that stick on the car work on a frameless window...i used to have those on an older car that had frames on the window and they looked alright, except some moron ripped them off one day at the mall...i have to say, they worked wonders on rainy days, and you'd be surprised how much sun glare that prevents coming in your side windows...i'll be looking out for those so i'll let everyone know if i find any good ones.

First of all, vent visors are for being able to crack your window open about an inch without water getting in if its raining. I dont care where you mount the ugly things they definitely wont stop water getting into your car with the window wide open so you can swipe a pass key. There is a channel about 3 inches over the window on the roof of the solara where excess water can drain away before dripping in the window. By the way you can get all the fresh air you need throught the ventilation system too.
As far as im concerned i think i can deal with a couple drops of water once in a while instead of adding a useless big black piece of plastic to the car. Think twice about the mods you do to your solara you dont want to be a poster child for rice weakly. No disrespect intended.
