Hey, do you know where I can find a pair of amber/piss yellow H10s? I wanna get that rally look going but everywhere I look; all i can find is the white ones.

Thanks,
Rohan

I don't think they make h10 bulbs in hyper yellow.
Hyper Yellow 2500K:
Nokya Hyper Yellow H3 - 12V70W 2500K
Nokya Hyper Yellow H4 - 12V70/80W 2500K
Nokya Hyper Yellow H7 - 12V70W 2500K
Nokya Hyper Yellow 9005 - 12V80W 2500K
Nokya Hyper Yellow 9006 - 12V70W 2500K

I didn't want to break your heart man. :( I kind of wanted them too. Been looking around for a lil while. Decided to get the Nokya Arctic White 7000k Fogs high and low beams. I'm happy with them. I recommend it.

I wanted "amber/piss yellow" fog lights too, but could not find anyone who makes a yellow H10 bulb. Eventually someone will make one and then I'll switch-out my Nokya H10's for the yellow bulb.

Unfortunately, that does break my heart. But get this; I was looking at some Ford forum and I found out that the F150 has the same foggies as us. Some guy on their forum posted that he fit a 9005 in his H10 fog housing. He said he had to make a minor alteration but it worked. Anyone think this is true? I find it kinda weird.

You may be on to something here!

I just compared the bases of an H10 and 9005 bulb, they are almost identical. I then tried to fit the H10 bulb into the 9005 socket in my car. (This was easier than trying to fit the 9005 bulb in the H10 fog socket and having to remove the plastic splash shield under the car. If it fits one way then the converse should be true). Anyway, No Dice! Its close, but it doesn't fit ... but it may just be possible to alter the base of the 9005 to make it fit. (I'd rather alter the bulb instead of the socket).

Maybe someone can get the details on how this is done, otherwise when I have a chance, I may just give it a try myself.

I've been using this brand of h11 xenons (don't know the name, it's in japanese) in my solara since about December. I love them, except I've gone thru 3 sets already! They only average about 3 months in my car.

How much are they? I hope they're not too expensive. Otherwise get some longer lasting bulbs that's brighter. I'm still shopping around for new bulbs.

I know the ones Fatal's talking about. I got the same ones and for some reason, I'm not too fond of them. Theyre not too bright at all. I think I paid somewhere between 20-25 for mine. The only reason they were that much was due to the shipping from Taiwan.

ICEDOUT:

DITTO: YOU ARE THE MAN!!!

Hoen bulbs are EXCELLENT. Too bad it doesn't look like they make any 9005 bulbs for the highbeams. But at least I can order some yellow H10's for the fogs.
THANKS.

BUMP: That's me above (I forgot to log in). I just ordered a pair of yellow H10's. Now I can be the first kid on my block with yellow fogs in their gen 2 Solara! :D

Now, does anyone want to buy a pair of very slightly used Nokya H10's?
