RSB Bushing Replacement

Alright guys, looks like im one of the few folks out there that are having issues with their RSB and its squeaking, now I've done searching and have done re-tightening of the bolts and lubing it up with mobil 1 synthetic grease but it still squeaks

I'm gonna try using teflon paste next but before I do I want to replace the bushings...I know nylon bushings are the way to go so my question is what size bushings do I get and if possible can someone link me to a place online or what to look for at an auto parts store?

There was a thread a while back that had a company name and a part number for replacement TRD bushings, use the search and you should be able to find it.

Through the useless search, I found this website that some guy sells polyurethane bushings...

I e-mailed the guy to see if theres an application for our cars cause I couldnt find it browsing thru the page. Also, I've had no luck finding a part number for the TRD bushings..

You might want to try a better grade of grease

and lots of it.

As long as its well lubricated, there is no reason for it to squeek

I just use Mobil 1 syth grease on all my bushings - got the grease gun with the needle tip and force it in there - seems to work for me. FWIW the bushings that came with my TRD RSB were already nylon, so not sure what you're hoping to achieve replacing them again.

My RSB was lubed with the stock silicone and last winter it began to squeek any time it dropped below 40deg. I had the lube replaced with "door sill" or whatever its called and seemed to fix the problem until now. It's back again and plan on doing what was mentioned in this thread

Clean everythng with WD-40 to remove the silicone and lube with Mobil 1 synthetic. I hope this is a permanent fix and don't have to do it every year.

i just got my rsb installed today im loving it hooked it up with mobil 1 lets see how it will take to sqeak

i've just been unhappy with the mobil 1...it lasted for maybe 4-5 months tops..and trust me i greased the $hit out of it..i thought maybe replacing the bushings and putting teflon paste all over it might solve the problem...

additionally, how can teflon TAPE be used on it? wrap it around the bushings?

I Installed my RSB at work when I had some spare time.
I borrowed some grease from the company. Not sure of the brand, but it was a high temp, high pressure synthetic.
That was three years ago and I still have yet to hear my bushings squeek.

The teflon tape is key. Wrap it on the bar itself about 6-7 layers thick. Once wrapped grease the outer layer of tape and the inside of the bushing. Slide the bushing on and cut any excess tape with a razor to clean it up.

so i wrapped some teflon tape around the bars and regreased it mobil 1 again until i replace the bushings..

i was also reseatching online and came across teflon bushings which say they dont need re-lubing...does anyone have any more info on this type of app?

^^^Those look nice! Buddy has had these on his Mini S for a while now without problems. They do not sell just the bushings alone. What size bushing does the trd rsb use?
