i read a couple topics about this mod but i was wondering if i could use the am button for an aux i just got stock stereo no jbl no nothing just plain stock

Without an "aux" button or mode you'll be hard pressed with any radio to add that input. You can 'mimic' an aux input by using an RF generator (tiny little fm radio station) plugged into an audio player and receive the signal on an FM frequency.

Your best option is to replace the radio in your car with something from the aftermarket that has all the modes/settings/options you want.

u can have aux on ur car
theres a thread for it in the audio section
u basically have to press the CD button again, as if u are using a CD changer

I actually have one of these somewhere at home.. took it out when i got the aftermarket head unit but I just moved so i dont kkno where it is and I only go home some weekends (now at school)
