I'm going to be getting the car lowered and some new shoes and need some advice:

1) for those without the body kit, how hard is it to pull out of drive ways and enter dips with TRD springs

and

2) for socal guys (626 area), whats a good place to go see rims in person

and

3) im deciding between two rims, the drag dr-18 (http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/6525/dr18uj2.png) and the tenzo dc-5 (http://www.tenzoracingsports.com/images/wheel_pics/wheel/fdc5.version1_black.jpg), what's everybody's opinion, my car is black

redgen1 could give a link to your springs? Do you have oem struts or not? Tire size? Wheel size?

I can't even imagine having a front lip kit as mine scrapes driveways and dips in the road daily! :-?

If I was to try a front lip kit it probably wouldn't stay on the car for more than 48 hours.

2nd rims link wont work but 1st one's nice.

if you're lowering your car on springs dont even trip about scraping the bumpers unless you're planning on catching serious air going on dips.

just make sure stick with 225/45/18 tires (if you're getting 18in rims im assuming) and you'll be fiine

for me both of the rims sucks (sorry)
i advise you to get 19" or 20" cause 18" look too small on Gen2
Also try to get 235mm width tires cause 225 looks too thin .especially in the back

sorry dude, i was gone all weekend.

just search Eibach Prosport springs in google for your car, they'll be different because i have a 1.5 not a 2. and i agree with the guy above me, 18s are too small for gen 2, go 19 for the full effect

My Lara dropped on the TRD springs with the SE Sport trim kit usually got around fine, but I did scrape on steep inclines at times (some driveways and parking lot / shopping center entrances), and I had to be careful of curbs and sharp (choppy) speed bumps...

Toward the end I had my car up on a lift to change the oil and noticed that my transmission fluid pan was kinda crushed and seeping... I'm pretty sure it happened from bottoming out on a speed bump...

Of the two, I like the Drags better for your car... The Tenzos would make your overall appearance too dark IMHO (nothing would really off-set anything else)...
