I know the combo black grilles are no longer available so I was wondering who here has gotten the chrome grilles and painted it black? If so, can you guys post pictures? How did it turn out? I am considering doing this, but don't really know how it is going to turn out.

You cant just straight out paint chrome... it can be done but theres special prep-work that u needa do to the chrome or the paint won't stick

I bought painted grills from another SG member and the paint would flake off over time. I had to keep a sharpie in the car for occasional quickie touch ups.

A real pain in the butt.
