Gen 2.5 items damn hard to find

Gen 2.5 items damn hard to find

Spent allot of time on the phone and internet today trying to locate cosmetic stuff for my ride. Bad enough they don't make too much, but finding color matched items is impossible. Barbara at TRDparts4u called back saying their supplier refuses to make any blue streak items because the Solara is being discontinued and it is a rare color. Just not enough demand.

I ended up getting
Black mudguards front and back
Front Plate Bracket
Navigation dash bezel (for future Nav install)
Charcoal floor matts
TRD Oil cap
Door sill protectors

Found paint at www.paintscratch.com to spray the flaps and frame, but might have a shop do it.

Then called Lund/Trenz for billet grill part numbers

Top grill is P/N 89050 and pepboys can get it for under $200
Bottom grill N/A from Trenz or MrGrille confirmed on the phone with 4 suppliers.

I wanted to contact Cp-E about the intake, but ran out of time and patience. I hope the limited performance parts are more compatable between the Gen2 and 2.5 .

Any leads on other 2.5 stuff would be appreciated

I can't say if it really fits, but is listed for my make and year, hopefully not for the 4 banger. Will see at the end of the week, stuff to ship on Monday.

Sorry to burst your bubble but that's not going to fit if you have a V6!

TRD Oil Filler Cap - Screw-On

Trust me - I've looked all over for something - even an eBay import but nothing fits that I've found so far. I thought you had actually found one and had it installed already.

Hope they'll refund your money.
