I decieded to look into a few wings since my car didn't come with one from factory. I like this wing below becuase it will look very clean and almost stock. It is selling on ebay for around $105 shipped. What do you guys think of it?

i think it looks pretty good...not too big or flashy, but a nice subtle touch...go for it!

It's not bad, but the stock one looks best, IMO. Either the 06 or 07 one.

the solara looks better with a spoinler that rests on the trunk, rather than one that's raised up from it.

Ordered

Postby stewy33 » Sat Apr 14, 2007 12:20 pm

I went ahead and ordred the wing above. I also ordered the paint and clear coat to do it myself. The wing, paint, and clear coat was $158. I ordered extra paint and clear coat on my future plans on shaving the entire trunk lid. :D :D :D

Will take some time

Postby stewy33 » Sat Apr 14, 2007 2:17 pm

Will do on the pictures, but it will take a while as I get the trunk lid shaved. I am planning on painting the shaved trunk lid and the wing at the same time.

hmmm maybe I will do a tutorial on the trunk lid.

I will keep you all updated, as I will be getting orders by the end of the month. :P

IMO the rear tail doesn't look too good, but that picture doesn't do much justice. It has the feel of a Saturn spoiler to me.

Yeah, definitely post a CLEAR pic of it when you are done. It amazes me that a company trying to sell you something would put up a pic so unclear as that one is

I don't know why you WOULDN'T want to install this spoiler, man. It adds at least 40HP to the wheels or something! Don't even get me started on all the downforce to the rear wheels, we're talking INSANE!!
