Looks cool - do you have the same on the rest of the trim to match? Can't quite tell from the photo.

i wouldnt try to paint the rims yourself. I'd only do it if you get them powdercoated.

Painting calipers and painting rims are two different things. It's physically easy to do, but painted rims with duplicolor is NOT gonna last. Rims unlike calipers are moving very fast and in any sort of bad weather they take abuse.

I think painting the calipers is a good idea. I am gonna try to do mine as well. But if you're gonna do it, you might as well do it right:

-Take a full day to do it.
-Jack up car
-Remove all tires
-Remove brake assembly (calipers/pads)
-Remove pads from caliper
-Paint
-Let it sit over night
-Next day reassemble

no offense to him, but he's wrong. I've seen rims repainted that last long. Now i'm not sure what he means by "bad weather", but here in SoCal, i've seen rain, mud, and snow. My rims still got the color. My friend, who I got the idea from, still got the gunmetal color he painted it on. You just need to do a good 2-3 light coat of the color THEN 1-2 medium coat of the color, followed up by 2-3 light coat of cleat coat THEN 1-2 medium coat of clear coat. If anttarz is right about one thing, it's that you should expect to spend a lot of time on it. If you spend the time and do it right, it WILL last you. And as for brand, I didn't use duplicolor, I used something else also. I don't have it on me right now, but if you really wanna know, I can tell you later.
