ok, he's one of them people that never learn their lesson. he got cited for having those annoyingly loud mufflers. now he wants illegal color HID to blind every bastard on the road. real smart there, buddy.

Was it ToyoChick or someone with 8 or 10k? I saw a pic of SOME gals white 02 and THOSE were SICK... but the COLOR was SOOO blue...

I heard pretty negative things on night vision, and especially rain with those... although I WANTED something that looked almost the color of my cosmic blue when I was first looking at HID...

Oh yeah... I shudda' said I ended up with 5300k, and I LOVE THEM!

(They work well with the silverstar fogs, which are better in the rain at night... and the ULTRAstar BRIGHTS are pretty good together with the H11 HID Low beams... nothing TOO obnoxious for me...)

My muffler isn't that loud.
And I went to the Checking station and
they said my 8K lowbeam HIDz are fine.

The reason I got a ticket for my muffler was that cops are just pulling people for mufflers in the HOllywood Areas. I'm not the only one that was ticketed for the muffler. When I went to the checking station there were about 12 more people lined up with really really fixed up cars, but the were cited for mufflers.

i'm not sure if this is true, but i heard that HIDs are legal as long as the output of color is white. If the color on the ground is any other color than white, then they can give you a ticket. But i think majority of the time as long as the color's not too far from white, then it should be ok. i'm actually thinking about getting a pair of HIDs myself, but i haven't decided what color to go with.

I didn't want something happening to my OEM fog-light housing so we tried it on something else and I guess the thing is too hot??
the guy said, it might melt the housing if i did it on the fog light since fog light housings cannot take that much heat, and the light bulb and the housing is too close to each other....

so can't do it

or I can do it, but just have to get the aftermarket foglight housing, that can stand up to high heat :(
