Debadging your Solara

Debadging your Solara

How did you remove the badges? On the back of the car is the words Toyota and SE V6. It also has the word SOLARA in the middle.

I know the Toyota and SE V6 can be removed, but how do you do it?

Has anyone removed the solara on the trunk? I heard that there would be holes if that was removed.

I'm looking for tips and ideas.

Thanks!

i believe the only one with holes behind it is the toyota "T" the others you can get off with a blow dryer, dental floss, and some goo-gone or wd40. i drive a gen1 however so you might want to wait for more replies....

"T" and "solara" has holes. fishing line works better than floss.

So you're saying the letter "T" in the word Toyota on the driver side on the back has a hole behind it?

Who here has successfully debadged their Gen2? I'd like to see some pics.

No, they're saying that the Toyota emblem (the 'T' enclosed in the circle) and the word "Solara" both have holes in them. The word 'Toyota' and 'SE', 'V6' or 'SLE' can all be removed very easily with a bit of heat and some fishing line.

OHhhh... ok, awesome!

I forgot about that T.

Has anyone removed the "Solara" or the "T"? If so, how did you fill the holes?

well, just let u ppl know.. there will be two holes behind big circle Toyota sign, and two holes on Solara.
i do NOT recommand to remove it, cause it looks really not cool. in fact, i tried it, and i think it's nasty.

use hot water and peel it off, thats wut i did for mine. But for the "solara" someone ripped mine off so i have two holes right now...kinda sucks but if i can find a new "solara" emblem then im going to put that back on or i might get it plugged and repainted and all that..=P
