Camry floor mats for Solara?

Camry floor mats for Solara?

Postby joebxr » Wed Nov 02, 2005 6:35 pm

Does anyone know or has anyone tried...fitting Camry floor mats in Gen 2 Solara? I hate the universal winter floor mats that I find and want something more tailored to the vehicle.
Thanks

maybe. the solara is a longer car so the mats proly wont fit it perfect. if i were u i would just go buy some stock gen2 solara mats...unless ur looking for just winter beater mats. then i would just go to autozone or pep boys and see what they have

BORING, BORING....but they also fit like crap. I need to find a Camry owner and just try the fit.

Sloara Gen II floor mats

Postby Bill Blake » Thu Nov 03, 2005 6:50 pm

I have the Solara factory color coded floor mats and ordered the clear pre cut to fit mats to go on top. The fit is perfect and the color shows through.
Very happy

Can you lead me to the clear pre-cut mats you reference?

Was at the dealer today and we grabbed Camry OEM floor mats to test....not a match. Driver's side is not long enough and left side half-covers the gas/trunk rrlease mechanisms. So I ordered Weathertech mats ($49.95) that are designed to fit OEM.
