Weapon-R Intake

What do you guys think about the Weapon-R Intake for the Solara i4?
Its 100 bux cheaper than the Injen... even tho it looks like crap, how much performance difference would it really be less than the Injen? And if it is significantly less, would it be noticeable?

And what is the difference between the i4 MAF and v6 MAF? Could the i4 use the v6 MAF?

Yeah! I really need to turn off the avatars while I'm at work. That would scare my coworkers.

I got one

Postby IndySolara » Sat Aug 20, 2005 6:08 pm

I put one in about a week ago and it makes the car sound very deep around 3k and all the way up. It makes highway passing much easyer. I will post a pic later.

Unless they screwed up the Vac tub routing or changed the pipe size, it should have the same performance. The pretty outside of a pipe doesn't do a lot for the engine. Bends have minimal impact too. As long as there is no heat issue with the materials requiring a heat shield.

Somewhat true, Pipe size does matter, Bends somewhat does too so it wouldnt throw the MAf Sensor off. If you dont believe me, Throw in that gay straight pipe ebay made..It caused a CEL light everytime
