Voice Recognition

Postby mikei » Sun Dec 12, 2004 2:15 pm

It is truly plug and play. It plugs into the only 8 pin connector on the back of the nav unit.

The nav unit recognizes up to one hundred voice commands, however it is not perfect

and you have to speak clearly.

If you are thinking of installing it. I say why the heck not.

Astro,

Checkout this thread on SiennaClub.org

http://www.siennaclub.org/forum/index.p ... topic=3904

They've been discussing the mic for a while (they installed the solara nav in their siennas)

I was thinking about the mic, but was looking for a good place to mount the button... (I was hoping it would fit under one of the unused buttons on the right side of the steering wheel... nothing yet...)
