Don't take this the wrong way michaels_artic_frost, but I want to make it known that there is another grille available now for the 04 solara......we can't all be sporting the same grille, right.

http://www.performancecenter.com/products/?searchtype=d&sortorder=DAA&productcategory=Grille+Shells+%26+Inserts&category=Exterior&sf1=TOYOTA&sf2=2004&sf3=Camry+Solara&sf4=Billet+Grille+Inserts

I'm might actually get this one (don't know when), but I need some opinions on which one looks best with the lines of the car.

With these grilles, you would have to do both at the same time. With Michael's, I was able to add just the lower grille and leave the stock upper grille for a fantastic look. Plus Michael's probably look better on a car like mine which has no other mods on it. These grilles are definitely for someone who wants to mod their ride more.

Just my humble opinion, which is worth about 2 cents ;-)

tough call. Both are nice. I think I would have to see this one on a real car before deciding

Yeah, you're probably right....I have 20s, so I need to consider that. My mentality is that if I do one I gotta to both. Im just not sure if I should go mesh or bar.

A black grille would definitely look hot on your ride. Then again, you can paint a grille whatever color you want pretty easily.

On a separate topic, those yellow lights are just a matter of replacing the bulbs, right?

Those Trenz grilles cost way more than Michael's ones too. Wasn't it more than 200 just for the top grill? How much was the bottom one?

Yeah the Trenz are expensive. I think I'm gonna go tor the mesh look, has kind of a money look to it. Billet for some reason seems a bit ricey to me. Thats just my opinoni though.

i like these ones cause they make the body look wider wich in turn makes the car look less tall and for a sporty looking car its a tall ride

That's true...I just spoke with the "website" and he told me that the price (175.99 or 205.56 depending on the finish) is just for the upper grille, and the lower grille won't be available for another 4 to 6 weeks....sux..... Michael, you definitely got the value.

I think the mesh looks more "ricey" of the two, but it's still tight.

The Trenz upper grille looks a bit plain without the Toyota emblem. Looks like something is missing.

Sorry Michael, but just FYI all, I got that same lower grill for $79 off a ebay. Looks good, fits perfectly, no extra work required. Call me what youd like but I only put the bottom grill on, the guy I got it from said he had no intents of makin a upper grill as of yet. BUT, its excatly the same grill as picture, and it was only $79. Just a heads up.

Just ordered the grille from Performance Center. They said it should ship within one week. So after shipping time, expect pics in about 2 weeks. I've also got the lower grille that you find on eBay. I've had it for sometime now. It's really a great, durable grille. Very well built. They're on eBay all the time. You can see them here: Toyota Solara Billet Grille

I did a quick photoshop of what the lower eBay grille + upper Trenz grille would look like together, and they look really sweet matched up. The only problem I have is that the Trenz grille has a frame around the bars, and the eBay grille doesn't. But since the lower grille is kind "in the background" due to the overwhelmingly large front bumper, it's not really noticable.

Personally, I just like the look of the billet grilles over the mesh grilles. There's nothing wrong with either, just personal preference I suppose.
