And about the supercharger, I will look into it and see what I find, so ilovemylara, the 1mz supercharger will fit on a 3mz

^ did it

does anyone know the injector size for he gen2 solara and fuel pump sie, i did some searches and found nothing, i am just making sure i have big enogh injectors for future plans as well as a good enough fuel pump, also planning on getting a fuel controller just to be able to see and control things from the inside of the car.

so some things i am looking at right now:
new injetors
new fuel pump
sts turbo
nitrous oxide( wet 50 shot, i forget who here has this already)
fuel controller
also new headers and y-pipe
some type of mod to the tranny just to make sure it holds

these are my intentions unless i change my mind, i still need to find out more on the sts turbo before i make my move and i will post pic of my ride sometime tomorrow.

so questions i hav are:
what is the solara injector size for the gen2
what size is the fuel pump for the gen2
what do you guys think of the sts turbo

right now i need some money, so these mods will be spread out but they hopefully will be done sooner or later, thanks, feedback always welcome

Ok,

As far as I know there is no Front Sway bar for the Gen2-2.5. PXLPainter got something but it ended up not being for the Gen2.

There is some information about a kit for the auto transmission...search sebas's posts.

I know there is a scion tC STS turbo in youtube, but best placement should be as close to the exhaust manifold as possible. Either way, it could be simpler than regular turbo on the 1MZ or 3MZ.

Yeah, I just want to know how safe it is, wouldn't want water or rocks and things in it, and also I here there is a bit of a lag with the sts turbo, but I think that is one good way to do a turbo, I will get more info from them tomorrow about a universal kit and about the front sway bar, I guess I can work around it, another reason why the sts turbo would be great is because it would allow me to get the jpp headers and y-pipe to compliment my catback, but if I don't want to go the turbo route then the nitrous route sounds like adecent plan, but I'm gonnaa do a lot of research before I make any moves

I think they install a protective shielding for the turbo components plus a waterproof cover for the air filter (like K&N has).

Let us know how it goes...after all, it still sounds awesome!

Those STS kits are pretty cool. The only problem would be getting it tuned properly and figuring out which engine management computer to use.

^ yeah i just spoke with vernon on the phone, i have guys that can tune it, and hopefully they could also find a ems for it too, its just all the money it will take to custom make things, there is gonne be a lot of custom work needed, especially with the piping,

the cost of the kit: stage 1-1995.00, but to be safe i would add another 200-500 for piping, so all together around 2495.00, they offer financing thought which is a plus, there is also about a half second lag with the kits, but vernon also said that some customers experience no lag at all.

so i am just getting all my ducks in a row before i go about anything, as always, money is the biggest issue and really the only issue with me, just gotta find a way to come up with 8000 dollars, thats what i estimate will be the total cost of everything, if it is done right the first time

here are some picks i took of the weekend, the first set i took tonight, i would have waited to do this in the day time but i just wanted to show how the drop looks a little:

pics of the drop(low quality)
http://img4.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dsc00596e.jpg

here are some pics of a mazda that produces 350whp, they completely rebuilt the motor from the ground up, but it has a fuel problem at the moment but when it is fixed it will make up to 450whp, here are pics of the mazda:

http://img12.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dsc00570u.jpg

the next set is of a ford focus that one of the guys at p3 performance is rebuilding for track use only:

http://img4.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dsc00575t.jpg

the table and boxes of mods that will be going into the ford focus, should be a turbo somewhere in the pic, the engine with the red rag on it is the old motor and the new motor is the second pic of a engine, looks a lot better and cleaner

http://img7.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dsc00578gkt.jpg

couple of turbos laying around, lol

http://img4.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=dsc00579yqo.jpg

final set of pics are of my custom catback:

thanks for viewing fellas, video hopefully will come soon, just got to get time. :D
