well that is maybe a darn resistence that will make your car to have a big amount of gas and wont add power it will make you car smoke and be slower dont buy that crap

There has been scam where private owners have sent theirs in and got back a completely stock ECU with a Jet sticker on it. Search google for it. A lot of the supra guys proven it as a scam. They HAVE been busted a few times. I can not find the original lawsuit post since its been like 4-5 years since I last saw it but it was a honda guy who filed the lawsuit I believe. He made a post with pictures of everything and how it was a sticker over the factory chip..


And yes in reality that ebay chip concept does work but only on older cars usually honda that runs an intake temperature sensor. Idiots just post it for all cars and make without thinking. But the gains they claim are not true. It just dumps more fuel and hope the car can make power out of it because it think it is taking in cold air. If done to the car at the wrong time it can actually hurt your car. So no gains because when your car is hot, its already dumping fuel to avoid detonation and timing. So unless you have an old car and your driving it on a cold day, your not improving anything. Maybe .5 hp of what the car is actually doing itself.

i know paladin has mad forum rep, but honestly the whole concept behind the JET chip is ridiculous. Granted you CAN gain power from professional tuning. Find someone who can adjust your fuel maps according to your individual car and with perfection and a good tuner you can probably get decent gains on a boosted car. However, any chip that messes with the stock fuel maps based on an individual car and not on YOUR car is not going to do anything good. With that said, i'm going to have to say that its 95% in his head and 5% on some small gains. I hope he can fill us all in on this, because I'd be interested on what he has to say. But yea, do your research and you'll find that these chips are pretty much useless. Get real tuning done.

we went over this David! I'm a changed man after getting arrested lol. It brought out more of my asian side and made me lose my sense of white security. Therefore, I must be smarter now. jkkkk but yea, so when are we gonna be seeing more pics of that camry brotha?

Yes. It's nothing more than a resistor that's installed in series with the engine air temperature sensor. The resistance tricks the ECU into thinking temperature is lower than it really is so additional fuel is added to the mixture. Result, you run abnormally rich (all the time) which may or may not give a slight power improvement but will for sure have a negative effect on fuel mileage.
