Alarm Blinker Lights not flashing.. Please Help.

Guys i searched and searched and could not find any answers to my question. I have a 2004 solara and i upgraded my alarm to a no name alarm system with sensors for glass, door, etc. Up until recently when i pressed the lock/unlock key the car would beep and the blinkers would flash (once for lock/ twice for unlock). Tonight i was locking my car and the noise would beep but the flashers would not blink. I went to my car and tried pressing the hazards and flashing my blinkers left/right and everything works. The interior dome light also works fine.

I don't know alarms, but unless there's something common to all of them, I doubt you'll get a lot of help here with an unnamed system.
Make sure you dig in the owner's manual if you got one.
