Brand: Raybestos brake pad at Kragen

whats up everyone I just got my brake pads installed front and back at BrakeMaster socal store with rotors resurfaced. After couple of days, I've been hearing noises in the the front rotors like something is rubbing or loose. The noise is on and off and very random. Can anyone determine what this is? Is this noise normal? Will the noise go away once I break in the pad? I don't know if this is too dangerous to drive or something miscellaneous that I dont have to worry about. Thanks. Any mechanics in here?

It depends which model of Raybestos pads you installed...but in most cases the Raybestos product tends to generate a lot of noise. I wouldn't worry about the noise...it's just the brake pad itself. For whatever reason Raybestos just makes a low quality pad that makes a lot of noise. In my shop I only sell Performance Friction, Wagner (occassionally), and very rarely Raybestos unless I really have to because nothing else is available. The Raybestos PGD QS is the only thing I would sell...still makes noise once in a while though.

I've had that issue too, don't worry about it man. mine only makes a noise when ever I go over a bump even at slow speeds. don't stress.
