Rear wing ideas

Wow, that last one looks pretty good! It's got the curves like a Solara, but seems just a little too big. What's the price tag say for all that carbon fiber?

Are you planning on shaving the trunk yourself?

hmmm maybe I will do a tutorial on the trunk lid.

I will keep you all updated, as I will be getting orders by the end of the month. :P

Ask Astro what happened when he decided to do his own paint/body work... LOL.... Sorry Larry, I had to....

But it has been seen that these country boys have their own body shops in their barns.

Wing is on the car

Postby stewy33 » Sat Apr 21, 2007 12:48 pm

:D The wing is on the car, but I will not post pictures till it is painted. The paint will not be here to Wed. :x But for those with little faith, We have a spray both at my work, and it WILL be painted perfectly. The wing was wet sanded with 800 grit and is smoother than a babies butt.

The great thing about this wing is it is low profile and dosen't block the third brake light. :D Lastly it was $101 shipped to my door.

Since it was asked, I did bail on the trunk lid shaving idea. After really seeing everything I would have to do to get it right, I decided not to do it.

But it has been seen that these country boys have their own body shops in their barns.

Hey NOW  LOL, Yup lots of cows and barns here, but a body shop and a lift isn't on my property

I had the perfect day to be outside. So I took my time and got the holes drilled perfectly, and it takes less then 3 mintues to losen 4 bolts.

Well I changed my mind, here are some pictures of the wing installed and primed.

You will have to click on the links to see the pictures.

For some reason the Img will not work with my shutterfly pictures. On the trunk lid, yes that is a work in progress as TRD emblems are coming.
