Talk about aftermarket Toyota Solara Gen 2 and 2.5 upgrades.

Fswb, rswb, or stb first?

Which one?

So I am understanding that these Whiteline FSB and RSB is better than the TRD ones. My wife is taking the boy to her mom for two weeks, so there will mass amounts of parts ordered if ya know what I mean. CPe will be ordered nexxt week and I was going to order the FSB and RSB so I could get them painted. At any rate wanted order the best ones for the car. Based on this forum it seems that these Whiteline are a better purchase because of there adjustabilty am I correct?

Trd only makes the rsb they dont make the front sway bar but they do make the front strut tower bar for the gen 1. I believe the trd rsb is better than the whiteline rsb. For FSB you only have one choice and thats whiteline.

The TRD strut bar is definately better than the Whiteline 3 piece strut bar, but I'm not so sure about the sway bars. The Whiteline bars are both (front and rear) 20 mm; not sure of the measurment on the TRD rear bar but I am sure it is smaller than 20mm (it appeared to be in the 17-18mm range; I will measure this). I am completely satisfied with the TRD rear bar, but it was made to compliment, without overpowering, the stock front sway bar; perhaps getting both Whiteline bars as a set would be a great idea.

Well - opened the box to see what I got... not nearly as "purdy" as the TRD stuff - looks like it came off a '54 Ford tractor... and it didn't come with the yellow bushings they show in the pic. Just a gray bar in a hand-made box.

They'll be gettin' a call from me in the morning. ;)

Wow! I knew they wouldn't look as good and needed to be painted, but no bushings? That's lame! I hope they send you some free ones right away!

Just heard back from them - it's gonna be awhile before I see the rest of the parts though. Crap!

"Hi Jeff –
I am very sorry for the mix-up. I have the lateral-lock bushing clamps here in stock, but the mount bushings I will have to order from Australia, which I will request via fastest way possible. Do you want me to send you the bushing clamps now, and then the mount bushings when we receive them, or do you prefer we send both at the same time? Obviously you won’t pay for any shipping charges."

Sux - but what can you do? At least they were responsive and are trying to make good on it - more than I can say about those asss-clowns over at R1 with my rotors I ordered! :x

The only thing I've seen from Whiteline before is the new front sway bar - which I'm still waiting for the damn bushings to get here from Australia (they forgot to ship them with the bar)

But I painted the bar red to match my TRD FSTB/RSB - as well as my calipers - so if nothing else, it'll look nice! :D

Sebas - as far as the R1 Concepts order - they normally make them in batches I was just told - they had some of yours but mine had run out so they're making a new batch for stock this week... just bad timing on my part I guess. ;)

I installed the TRD strut bar Friday night (during the snow storm). When the weather cleared on the weekend, I could notice the difference, though not nearly as much as the rear sway bar... the car feels more responsive and controlable up front, though, which is exactly what it needed after the rear upgrade! The install was at most five minutes. Props for TRD making a good combo here... Now I will find out if the original strut bar and rsb fit the 06 Camry LE; Jamie's twin sister wants to upgrade since her LE doesn't come with the suspension package...
PXL- I hope those bushings show up soon! I bet that bar looks great painted up.
Sebas- any word on the install of those brakes yet?
