Not to mention 2nd gear scratch! Must be a manual tranny with an I4? Sounds really good for a 4-banger!

JEFF,

Mine does 1st/2nd transitions with really good BARK to the tires with the CP-e! (Sometimes, I scuff a good handful of yards before it hooks up with both tires after the one-two shift...)

Sebas, YOU get rubber between 1st and 2nd when you stomp it don't you?

w/ my stock tires I'd get burnouts all the time if I turned off my TRAC. 8) That little light is always blinking at me.

Well, oftenly Jeff complained about powerless car he has...but I never had any difficulties to spin the wheels. At the track we have t heat up the tires...yeah I know I go in some water solution...but even from a corner it is pretty easy. The amount of torque and espcially the gearing (1st gear has a huge ratio) "help" us out doing some burn out. Now you know what you have to do...bring us the headers+y-pipe and install this dawm CP-e !!

Here are some interesting info on our car.
Gen 2 with V6 is MCV31L body model
Gen 2 with I4 is ACV30L body model

Tranny model for our V6 is U151E

Note that the second part of model number is the tranny type
GCANKA for Automatic (look to the third letter)
GCMNKA for Manual

http://www.vibratesoftware.com/html_help/html/Toyota/2006/2006_Toyota_Camry_Solara.htm

You'll see there no bigger 1st ratio in all the tranny Toyota did in the last 10 years !!
