Some people have cleaned their lights up really well with some kind of cleaner. You should look around before spending money on new ones.

Side Note: Why does this happen to headlights? Can't they make the plastic better?

^^ What he said; all I used was metal polisher, let it sit for 5 minutes and rub it out... Still gleaming after 5 months whereas I used to wax it on the weekends and pray no water got on it until next week.

Hm... mine are still going on strong... bought the car in May 2004... was not garaged until recently...

I do recall using Meguiar's Plast X (something like that) on it a few times when I was doing massive detailing work... maybe that helped to prevent some of the fogging?

So are mine...just wondering if it's possible that the new plastic used on the CLEAR headlight designed is made better. The only lights I see fogging and yellowing are the ones that are not clear/see through like the Gen2.

What do you all think? I think if these were to fig/yellow, the effectiveness would be decreased, so perhaps they had to make them better???

I took my headlights apart to clear corner them, wasn't a good idea. I didn't have the time to do it right, so one keeps fogging on me. And for the fogs, fogged up too, but i didn't touch those. plus, all the lil nicks from the road don't give the lens a crystal clear look. And thatw what i want to, cant stand the wear and tear.
