Injen intake gen1->gen2

Injen intake gen1->gen2

Hello, i tried doing a search, but there were toooo many articles that had intake and injen in it i guess. But anywho, I currently own a 2006 Toyota Solara V6.

But my main question is will a Gen 1 aftermarket (such as Injen) intake fit on the Gen 2 set up?

Thanks in advance

^^ What he said.

Unfortunately they're not compatible at all.

Also know that they aren't CARB approved either. ;)

No, but there is an Injen for the Gen2 V6... why not just get that?

The 2az injen intake from the gen1 fits on the gen2 I4. I got mine from i20solara02i and he had a gen 1.5? or maybe a gen1. Just make sure it's the same engine if you're looking at the 4cyl version :).

P.S. Welcome to the forums! :bday:

I'm not dumb, I knew he said a V6. I just thought that I'd share that it works on the similar 4cyl models so that other people wondering the same question for their I4 would find out the answer.

Sorry if I'm just trying to be helpful :roll: .

Look at the master list sticky in this forum. "gen2 aftermartket" It lists all the possible (both) intakes for your car. It's a good place to start with any info quest.
