blue bulbs

DON'T get the Halos. Mine burned out in the first week and I returned them. My next set burned out in 2 weeks, fancy that.

After buying a bunch of sets of halogen bulbs, I realized that I could have just bought one HId kit and been happy for life. I paid the $130 to get one, installed it, and loved it immediately. You never know what it's like until you actually get the good stuff :).

I haven't compared the 2 side by side; I've heard rumors of durability issues with Nokyas though. I've used Silverstars and Luminics before, and Silverstars were over-advertised and under-performing with a shorter life span (thus the light output was crap), and I thought the Luminics were worse, but then again that was before I actually adjusted the horizontal aim... The website I learned about alignment from said that it wasn't crucial to do it until I found visibility to be FAR better... But by this time I already have installed the Halos.

Hmm that's odd... Never had a problem with them, and they've been in my car for a little over a year even with DRLs on (I live in SoCal amongst tons of idiots; I even had the habit of turning on all lights during the day when I had my SenCrap; unless it was coincidence, I noticed less idiot drivers).

it could have been you had inadvertently touched the bulbs contaminating them with skin oil and thus they would burn up quickly.
