If there's any increase in height, I've got an idea to get lowering springs :). Just get bigger rims and then get lowering springs to almost cancel it out :P

You have this correct... My car lowered on the 20s was only a little bit lower (frame to ground) than a stock suspension Solara... it just looked low because there was no wheel gap...
Now with my Tein COs... well that is a different story... LOL

Ok, thanks for the ideas. Any chance somebody's willing to donate rims for the show :drinking: ? I'll give you a high five if I ever see you :P. Anyways, thanks on the ideas and pointers. It looks like I'm getting the '07 tails, grilles, and tint (pretty much required in AZ). After that, guess who's working more hours to get rims and lower it? Me!

That setup looks the most common and realistic with my dad's permission.

Also, is that limo tint all around Posh? I thought that was illegal.

1) a nice set of aftermarket wheels and tires

2) aftermarket suspension

3) ICE (In Car Entertainment)

If you have all three of those items on the car, then it will definitely be a standout.

It is 21% all around (minus the front window of course), and yes it is illegal in Cali, I have already had to remove and redo it, but I will not go without it :D One of the prices we pay for looks (and in my case security when driving alone)...

Hey, can someone help me find an 07 Solara 6 CD MP3 changer? I've been looking on ebay but I can't find the auction anymore. My dad wants to get me one for Christmas, so any help would be great, thanks!

I just did some thinking about the grilles. I've wanted nice grilles for a while but don't want to fork out the dough, and I remember a thread on Saturn Life about some watergate? grilles that you can cut and fit to your car that don't look bad. It's about $2-5/yard and I was wondering if anyone has seen this stuff. For a cheap upgrade, would it look descent for a while or not? It never hurts to try, especially for almost free.

That is pretty much what Michael T grills are... so judge for yourself on the looks... The hard part will be cutting them so they look good...

I got my exterior mods in this order:
grillz
tint
lower
clear corners
next is 07 tails
and i still need wheels
most expensive was lowering. clear corners deffinitely change the look and is almost for free, just effort needed. what time of the day is the show?.. just to consider lighting options

thanks for the pointers guys, I'll be sure to go in a good order. I'm getting headers and an intake so I'm kinda delayed on everything lol.
