And also painting tail for $80 is too much, You can get them for $50 in Koreantown.

But then it's hard to remove those, and colors fade away about 4 months later. Smoke films, you can just peal them off, and it also protects the housing from breaking.

Smoking other tail-lights such as Civic those are only like $60

Um... why would car paint fade in 4 months????

If the ones done in Korea town fade after 4 months then it is not car paint and it is not even worth the $50...

Like Milt said he has a hook up for tail light smoking using car paint... so it wont ever fade (well will last as long as your car paint) and they come out really shiny (not like that night shade BS)... I can attest to the quality since I have seen them not only on his cars, but other members he has done it for... 80 bucks is a good price...

You would just have to get it professionally removed. Best thing to do would be to get an extra set of tails and smoke those... :D Then you could change them as much as you wanted.

I don't know but after seeing that kid's solara and those messed up taillights with the film, I would rather go with paint..... But then again I always do.

Hmmm... wonder if I should consider selling my OEM tails to someone who wants to smoke 'em? :-?

Why do so many people like those eyelid things? They look cheap in just about any application I have seen. They nver have the same finish as the car itself, so they look like an add on. I just don't get it, they don't even make the headlight look any better, just kinda dorky.

It's better to put eyelid when u have HID, cuz you don't get pulled over easily. Even though i aimed the headlight angle down a lil bit, it was still lighting lil high, so i put that to cut the angle so that the light would shine lower. Cuz if you have a aftermarket lights like HID, cops can pull you over if u blind someone infront of u, especially if that's a cop in front of you
and lotta people that are not into cars can't tell if you stick that on or not.
