I try to figure how much shipping fees it would cost me...but WTF...they let me enter Canada with my postal code...but there are only "only US" options in the shipping method !! haha I'm interested in this TRD kit...but I would need someone to be the "US stop point" to ship the stuff to me after...for now it is in project with the winter coming up...

Sebas,

I'm not sure what the particulars are... but I probably wouldn't mind being a ship point. Additionally, I am frequently up and back to a little north of Toronto... suppose I could send something out from on your side, if the packaging wasn't too conspicuous over the border... besides, if I did get searched... (never in many dozens of crossing... I must LOOK like I'm a "non-threat" to Canada... does "GW-disgust" show on the face in a visual "profiling" scan? HA HA!!) ... nobody would see anything wrong with boxes of parts for MY Solara in MY trunk... travelling to Canada notwithstanding....

Let me know...

Thanks guys for the help !! I know that I can trust biggi_e at 1000% I make business twice with him. But on the other hand, a shipping from Canada to Canada is so less complicated...no focking customs and other stuff to get thru...I'll let you know guys when I'll buy it...next spring. I'll like to hear about you guys if you buy it before mine...before buying I'll ask some question to my dealership about the warraanty works...it will probably remains the same because it is TRd parts installed by Toyota dealership employees...I think it may interest XLPainter !! ;)

has anyone tried the torue differential? i never knew they had that out for us.

If you're doing track racing you may want to skip the TRD springs and do the Tein SS coilovers. You can adjust them for the track. (your comment about brake fade makes me think you're not talking dragstrip.)

I also validated with TRDSparks.com that this part really fits our Gen 2.

Wow - that would really be cool indeed! :D

I've noticed the "squirrely" action much more since I've lowered my riade and went to lower-profile tires on the front. Especially in the 1-2 and 2-3 gear jumps. Makes me feel like I don't have control. Ack! It reminds me of riding a shaft-drive bike in the rain. :o

Dang - more $$ to save up for now... but at least I'm almost done with my current mod projects, so I can start saving... ;)

I know what it does... but is it an improvement over what we have? And I don't see that boosting 1/4 mile time unless the rest of the tranny is tweaked in the process. The shifting is not controlled by that as I understand it. You can have a tranny shop tweak your solenoids for less $$ than that and you'll get tighter shifts. (and we know that's where we lose much of our acceleration) But overall the TC is where we leave most of our horses. Looks like the LSD would improve handling only. True?
