hey has anyone attempted to tint their tail lights? i tried it today, and omg, howww annoyin! For some reason, the tint would not form around the light properly.. so i was jus lookin for some advice if neone has any, it'll be greatly appreciated!
p.s.i used a spray bottle [water n alcohol], blowdryer n this scaping thingy i got from stickercity when installing my foglight film..

With the stock taillights?

I'm surprised anyone even would try tinting it... that bulb-ous signal light would scare the living crap outta me...

As far as I've heard, you're the first to try... that's why I went ahead and smoked them with spray paint (when I had it)... just thought that there'd be no way tint would wrap around nicely...

yes the bulb part drove me nuts, but it looked soo nice! but i hadta take it off, it had way too many bubbles.. i cut around the reverse light and the bulky light, it looked nice =( now if only i can figure out how to do it right

I have gotten a few sets smoked dark but not with tint, that would be close to impossible to have it look perfect.

You can smoke the taillights... but using window tint is definately not the way to go about it.

that guy does the smoked tail-lights with the films.
he also has the film for the headlights which you can change it to yellow/clear/smoked/blue and also the fog lights too.

I wish I had a picture my friend ex-girlfriend.........she tint her 04 and it turns out perfect, I can't believe it.......my friend told me that she uses blow dryer to around the bump and stretch it at the same time....and it works pretty good.
