FOG LIGHTS BLINK?

FOG LIGHTS BLINK?

Postby scLara626 » Tue Jul 11, 2006 7:59 pm

well i upgraded my bulbs to stage II nokya in my lowbeam. Now i dont know if the extra wattage is making my fog lights blink? Its weird? they still do it if i take the bulbs out of the lowbeam and turn on the fogs. Has anyone ran into this? or have any ideas?

What low beams do you have?

In any case, it shouldn't... I've ran the following combos with no "blinking"

Low/High/Fog

NokyaArcticWhite/NokyaArcticWhite/NokyaArcticWhite
NokyaArcticWhite/NokyaArcticWhite/NokyaArcticYellow
HID/NokyaArcticWhite/NokyaArcticWhite
HID/NokyaArcticWhite/NokyaArcticYellow

How is it blinking? Repeatedly? When they first come on? When you're accelerating?

That's strange, I hope you get the problem fixed.

I ran into: installing them, they look great, not even a week later one is shattered in the damn housing!

What is the wattage?

They're on seperate circuits - shouldn't be any interference from the Lo Beams...

nokya purple stage II 120 watts ( never on)
lowbeams nokya stage II artic blue 100 watts, a 20watt plus upgrade from my original stage I 80 watts i had in before, and stage I artic blue in my foglights. Really All i use is the lows and the fogs and with that combo form what i hada before is only 20 watts more that are being used. So im lost, sorry i know it sounds a lil confusing

I'm assuming both fog lights (right and left) blink simultaneously?

Try this... Take the aftermarket (Nokya) bulbs out of your fogs and replace the stock bulbs. See if you still get the blinking problem with the stock bulbs, If so, you might have problems (intermittent open circuit) with your fog light circuit (switch, relay, etc.).
