What Options are a MUST have?

Hi Everyone,

My Wife is getting a new 07 Solara Convertible SLE with the Options package B with Nav. She is also getting Satellite Radio installed at the dealer. Are there any other accesories or options that you consider a must have?

Thanks!

I think the SLE comes with pretty much everyting but Nav and satellite receiver (at least in the 06), so it sounds like you are set. Anyone know anything else the SLE doesn't come with?

You could probably skip the FTSB. The RSB is far more noticeable.

The ground effects is the one thing you won't get in aftermarket and adding it after the sale is twice as expensive. IMO, it really makes the car.

(If the kit does not come with the car you want, then ask the dealer to order the parts for you, paint it and install it. Just include it with the sale. Dealers promise stupid things at the end of a sales month.)

If you don't want the feeling of the front end sliding around like you have too muuch weight in the trunk, then spring for the FTSB as well as the RSB. I'm riding on stock SLE suspension and wheel/tire combo and the difference is amazing adding those two (I tried just the RSB for a month or so and the front was sloppy as hell!).

If its not too late, and you want the GE package, get it NOW while you still can (before delivery of your car)!

Scott... I am picking up my 07 w/Nav package on Wed. when you order the Nav package, every single option is included, the car is maxed out with exception of dealer installed accessories. MY dealership is actually installing Sirius for free(including a free sirius tuner) as well as 9 months of free service.

The biggest decision is which color to get. I opted for the Blizzard Pearl... the previous silver (from 04-06) really dissapointed me after a while.

For the 07's I like Blizzard Pearl the most, and magnetic gray metallic second.

The Blizzard Pearls w/nav were hard to come by(none in NJ, 3 IN Ny)

Mine is being shipped from NY on Wed. Wahoo!!! So excited. The new nav is amazing. JBL Stereo with the 440 watts is also superb.

On the convertible, the FSTB is a MUST.

JadedEMOlush

Just out of curiosity, what did you pay for the car? My wife says she got a good deal, but just wondering what you were able to negotiate?

You can PM me if you don't want to post it in the forum, and I will be happy to tell you what we paid as well.

Thanks,

Scott

I know the dealer I am going through is also getting the car from NY. I think they said New Rochelle?

Hope that helps! But don't get the silver solara convertible! :)
