Voiding Warranty?

Voiding Warranty?

Does putting a CAI on my new Solara void my warranty? This is my first Toyota so I'm not sure yet, it's a step up from my Saturn lol! Also, what other things can I do to my car that don't void my warranty?

Good news and bad news:

Good news, there's no Gen2 CAI that will void your warranty.

The bad news, there's no CAI for the Gen2. Only a SRI.

The SRI is easy to take off and swap back to the box. 5-10 minutes is all you need to have peace of mind.

Personally, I take mine in with the Injen SRI. No issues yet.

and the sri will fit my 4cyl '06 automanual solara? Also, what o you think of those ebay SRI's? I had an AEM clone on my Saturn but idk what to get for my solara. Also, will a rear sway bar and a body kit void my warranty? What exactly voids my warranty?

Check the sticky at the top of this section for the SRI's for the I4 options.

I have the CP-e intake on my V6 and the dealer doesn't bug me about it. There are two or three intakes available for the 4 banger, check out the "gen2 aftermarket" link at the top of this section for a list of what's out there.

The only aftermarket body kit available is the EVO kit, which is pretty nasty...

If in the future there do seems to be engine problems (there really shouldn't), then you can just swap your stock airbox back in before you give it to the dealership...they won't know you can a sri or a dryer hose before that!

So what's the difference between the ebay SRI's and the Injen or CP-e SRI's? Is it just the filter at the end, because if so was gonna buy a K&N one for the tip anyways.

look around buddy. Theres a reason the ghetto ebay one's are 30 bucks and the GOOD ones cost like ten times that. Think about it. You have an expensive, NICE car, dont be cheap
