^^ Good idea. I am taking the amber lights, regardless if the lense is yellow or clear. If I can smoke them, this would be the best compromise.

I actually bought a set of these for $30 bux at my local autozone. Still brand new if anyone is interested. I just never installed them because they were flexible rubber-like material which would eventually turn yellow from the sun. They do light up amber as Jeff pointed out.

I've checked out several AutoZones, Pep Boys and Trak Autos and still haven't found anything close. Where do you live that you found those?

The closest thing I've found are cheesy fake neon rubbery things with chrome ends on them. Ack!

I think it's worth getting the ones I found to try them out at least...

^^ Sorry, but not even close. The ones I was referring to in my original message were these:

http://www.customdynamics.com/flex_led_array.htm

They are a single strip of LEDs and not cheap quality.

(They are also not inexpensive either - which has been my barrier to entry to date!) ;)

Here's a couple product shots from that page link:

You can see that the clear tube is truly clear until lit Amber.

Mike, looks like my purchase is postponed for now. I spoke to the doctor and they want to drill into my toe and foot to place a temporary pin! I was like a hell no!
The surgery isn't necessary, I can live with it, so I said no thanks!

I will be getting married in September, and will be gone for the second half of September. This being the only ideal time for me to send out my mirrors, this will be the time that I will purchase the LEDs from you.
