Nice pic. What is the percent tint on your windows? Is it Lumar? Good luck avoiding a ticket for the missing front license plate.

Here's the pics of the Trenz + eBay grilles together. Sorry for the poor photo quality...

You can definitely tell a difference....I hope you don't intend on keeping both of them.

I would go with the ebay grill.

Thanks for posting these pics....it helps a lot.

Just my personal preference...the ebay grill looks so much better than Trenz. I dont understand why (because Trenz is a respected company), but the Trenz one just looks cheap. Thanks for the pics tho.

Thanks to jbauer for the "first look pics" of this grille combo.

Personally, I think both grilles look rather good together, but I'd like to see some more (better) pics too. I would also consider replacing the Toyota logo emblem on the upper grille... looks kinda empty there.

BTW - the "e-Bay lower grille" is made by "Mr. Grille".

Darn... now i'm leaning towards the billet lower grill (sorry michael!). does anyone know if it's easy to paint brushed aluminum? I really want black... and I think the black billet grill would look really good. Will spray paint adhere to brushed aluminum without prior sanding?

If you do go with the Trenz, get the combo set! It would look better.
IMO, there's a mismatch since there is no framing around the ebay lower grille. But hey, TETO.

I'm just happy to finally see that someone else decided to give the Gen 2s some attentions.

No comment on the Trenz upper grille since I have the same exact Trenz billet on my 03 Altima. I'm looking to make a mesh one for the upper on the Alti to match my lower mesh when I get some time.

I seriously considered painting my lower billet grille black. The brushed aluminium on the front surface of the grille is definitely rough enough that spray paint should adhere just fine (all the other surfaces of this grille are already painted black).
You would want to use a spray paint that is designed to adhere to aluminum (like epoxy paints) or use a primer made for aluminum first.
