Can someone explain to me the advantages of a CF hood compared to the stock hood? Just how much lighter is it and is that the reason people buy them?

Besides looking good, it should be bout half the weight of stock hood and lighter for racing.

The skeleton fiberglass part looks shady... since there is no skeleton. it's just a big piece of fiberglass lol. Fiberglass hood w/ CF sticker? =P
