Talk about aftermarket Toyota Solara Gen 2 and 2.5 upgrades.

What upgrades are there???

What upgrades are there???

I have been having problems finding online vendors that sell ANYTHING for the gen 2, including TRD. Are there any good resources? Even you guys are a little tight lipped about sources.

Thanks and love your rides.

Crutchfield hasn't even got specs on it for speakers yet and its been out a year! All they say is that they haven't measured it yet. Come to think of it, Sounddomain doesn't know what fits either.

There's an aftermarket spoiler & lower grille insert on eBay and Michael T has done upper & lower grilles.

You can find the TRD air filter, sway bars & wheels on eBay from a Toyota dealer in Greensboro, NC. I know that isn't totally "aftermarket" but its the closest thing you'll find so far.

I really think...

I think there won't be many aftermarket upgrades for this car. Let's face it, for what it is, it is nearly perfect. Lower it and change the wheels and tires, some suspension and exhaust mods, and that is it. The rest is exterior and touch up items. The stock stereo (JBL) is very nice, too. All this and still $24K with leather seats from CarMax Toyota! V6 of course.

I seriously doubt there will be a blower for this one since the compression is already 10.8:1!!! Who wants to push that on pump gas?
