Ok guys - im going to be doing all the upgrades this week and slapping on the 6psi pulley. Here's everything I have:

Walbro 190
305cc injectors
8mm Magnecore wires
NGK Iridium plugs (1 step colder)
New belt (shorter)
6psi pulley

Is there anything im missing, or that i should be prepared to buy?

Split sec., esc-1, headers, intake, cat back, 255 walbro, GM knock sensor, Water meth, dont cheap out and blow your engine (at least 625ml. Nozzle)

yup i learned my car has been down for the past 4 months. But are you keeping it at 6lbs? or going higher later?
6psi its not necessary to run the split second, you can still use your safc. But remember to spray methanol for sure! its a must dude. i would recommend larger injectors. Exhaust too.
You need the OBX hearders with the downpipe (or if you can find a dats y pipe) OBX cat back.

Well real question is what are the mods on your car currently with the amount of boost you have? That will break down on what you really need.

Thanks for the replies guys!

See my sig for mod list - anything not listed there is just stuff like hids & tint. I dont plan on going any higher than 6psi in the future - my goal is at least 300hp which i think is attainable at 6psi.
From what ive researched on here, it seems most ppl are still pulling lots of fuel while running the 305cc injectors with the walbro pump at 6psi. I agree that a header+downpipe is prob gonna be needed, however i am currently runnin 2 1/2" from the cat to the TRD muffler. As far as meth goes - is that a NECESSITY at 6psi? I fully understand the benefits, just havent seen many ppl at 5.5 or 6psi that have it. I guess i always thought it was for the badass 7psi and up setups lol!

*Anyone can feel free to chime in the discussion to get some activity going in Forced Induction*

well if your aiming for 300hp your going to need to open up the exhaust flow being too restrictive will keep you from hitting that mark. Like Andy for example. He dynod this passed weekend on 8lbs, meth, split second, and a ton of other mods, he has a 3inch cat back with the stock headers and down pipe and put down 290. So if he opened up the exhaust flow he would go well over 300whp.

Fergs right. 8psi with the right mod set up should get you right around the 300 whp mark.
You be the first to hit 300whp at 6 psi, never seen that, probably never will.

Meth gives you the ability to safely advance timing. More timing = more power, but if you don't have a controller that allows you add timing, it won't do much. I spray 100% water but I did it to keep intake temps down and for knock protection while I was in Greece because I was skeptical about octane levels there

Your going to need headers to make any real power Pete. The stock y pipe has a huge kink in it under the heatshield that you cant see it.

Got everything installed today and ended up not needing the shorter belt. Turns out the auto-tensioner took out all the slack from switching to the smaller pulley. Honestly im kinda glad - wasnt looking forward to disassembling the idler plates lol.

Thanks to Gabe for his help as to where to set the baseline on the SAFC - after a nice street tune (at 50 degree evening temp), i think ive got it dialed in pretty well. Overall, its quite a bit more power than at 4psi, and the car is running great!! Ill prob keep tweaking the street tune for a couple weeks and then hit the dyno to find out just how far from 300hp i really am

Thanks again for eveyones input! Sounds like a header & Y-pipe are next, splic sec, then a lil meth/h20 injection. I may also have to retract my previous statement about staying at 6psi... boost is rather addicting :drinking:
