^E85 is a really nice fuel. At this point you wont even need to run meth i beleive. Thing with E85 is gas stations that carry this are very limited. And even though our mpgs suck right now, e85 makes it a little bit worst. You also have to switch over to bigger injectors. Well for some people depending on the size your running.

Even though its true octane rating is only 94-96 it still increases whp, burns cooler, better detonation resistance compared to 93 and help with timing advance. Many here already have bigger injectors, and pumps, so the switch to e85 is not that hard, fill up and get re-tuned. I might try using meth and e85 in the near future. Many other car communities have already started this trend and are seeing positive results for the most part. In my area, e85 is readily available, so supply isn't much of an issue for me.

That will work great if you only running 5psi of boost, you still have to spray the trd
blower to cool it down if your running over 5psi. With water meth your octane is
suppose to raise to 110, i have no way to really determine what octane im running, all
i know for sure is that when i tune this last time i tuned with 4 gal.s of 91octane
then put 5gal.s of 110 octane and retune and had the same results. Even before i put
the 110 octane i maxed out the timing on the split sec. my camry wants
more timing, water/meth works great. Its
cheap $26 dollars for a 5gal can when mixed makes 10gals. you can run a 375ml nozzle
if youre worry about saving w/m. Remember it only sprays when you boost.

Agreed, I know as boost goes up we need meth but e85 + meth and e85 is something worth looking at for some.

my buddy has been trying to talk me into getting e85, but supply for e85 here is very limited and burns faster than normal octane. So i dont know if ill be doing that. e85 + meth would be a great set up. Helps protect the motor from detonating, its a really good fuel but i too bad no one here has ran it to see what the results are on the dyno.

All of what you said is correct, and yes most of supercharged guys already have an upgraded fuel system. But most of us, like me are running a 190 walbro fuel pump. From some research your need to run a 255 pump, and also those running the 2jz ge 330cc injectors will need to uprgrade to something a little larger.

People on here like doing things the hard way. :arg:
Maybe coverting to diesel will eliminate the problem of
detonation, problem solved.

Agreed Toyosolv6

@Greg - What's so hard in getting some rc injectors, a W255 pump, and a tune? If someone wants to try an alternative way of doing things let them , even if it is "the hard way", it's their car.

0psi, I am not saying e85 is right, wrong, hard or the easy way but just don't knock ppl for doing what they want to do.
