In my case, I cut the factory harness back too far when making the splice. There's a plastic encasing with a shielded ground wire that your splice connection can't touch. I tried re-shielding the ground on each wire, but that still didn't work. I ended up having to buy another OEM harness, part #82219-07010. It was around $30 retail.

This is siennasc98's photo, but it shows the same harness:

Questions: did you installed your GM kit before , or are you going to reinstall with the new harness . Like I said the mechanic installed the GM sensors today then after 3 milles it came the PO 330. I will get the harness, Do you think the GM sensors are ok or do I need a new ones. T :( :( hanks keep us update

I tried installing the GM sensors with the screwed up harness, which obviously didn't work. After ripping my engine apart 3 more times to find out my harness was junk, I relocated the OEM sensor with the new harness and sold the GM kit. Now, if my sensor goes I won't have to tear apart my engine again.

I have no way of knowing if your GM sensors are bad, but I know they can be tested. I would ask your mechanic if his splices were before the plastic encasing.

There's no kit for the relocation, it's custom. King (eye8pussies) wrote some info about it on TN if you're interested. As long as you're comfortable with a cutting wheel and tap, you'll be fine.
