knock sensor

Postby JvR » Tue Oct 21, 2008 10:06 am

Today the garage phone me, knock sensors are broken.
When they replace the senors and check/adjust the valves...it will cost $500 (senors) + $1.200 labor

I told him to put those senors in a place where the sun never shines.

So, i have to do it myself.
But where can i buy the senors for a normal price?

Some good tips here?

Thanks allot!

^ Told you in PM on TN about what I can do for the sensors. Or if you want aftermarket, let me know and I can help you out too.

As for replacing them, let me know if you want me to do a quick write-up for you, and I'll do it.
