Parts needs for S/C

Parts needs for S/C

Postby YESCA » Thu Feb 28, 2008 11:03 am

Ok. After reading a post on here, i relized I too am missing some parts from my S/C. :( I have the idler assembly, the actuator looks just fine, but I don't think I have all the bolts for it. Can someone tell me what bolts are supposed to come with the charger, or if someone has a pic and sizes of the bolts, it will help out alot. I am a little worried about this. I'm having one hell of a time locating the EGR tube, and I will have to one made, i just don't want to pull my hair out on locating the hardware for this. ANY HELP will be greatly appericated!!!! As things look ATM, I have a $2000 paper weight. I'm just glad I didn't start installing it. ALSO, does anyone have a PDF I can print out for the install??

I'll get some pics up tonight of what I have and we can go from there... but any input before hand would be sweet! :bday:

do you still have the manual i sent you? that has a pdf parts list with all of the bolts required and sizes. Dawgz is your man for the bolts, he has a hook up and can probably get you all of them you need.

im in the same situation as you.
I just acquired all the hoses and the bolts.
I just looked on the installation manual at the list and looked on mostly ebay to find the stuff.
Some of that crap is pretty hard to find locally i do admit. But online you shouldnt have too much of a problem.

As for the egr you dont need to make a new one per se. You basically just use the stock, and since it isnt too far off and go to a shop and tell them to make it fit lol. TRD told me it can be massaged to fit.

i have the .pdf file. Just hit me up on aim whenever and ill send it to you.

I don't have the hoses either, but I'm sure that regular Vacuum hoses will work, but I will look at the manual you sent me and start aquiring the parts. I can't wait till this thing in installed...lol!

Ok. I am now a bit freaked out with the problems people are having recently with the install of their S/C. I have been wanting one of these things forever and I am trying to get everything i need for the install...it's a flippin' bitch. i was reading that install website...BTW you can't really read it when it is printed out) and i saw this

Dynamic tensioner. Now this is the one already one the car correct? or did TRD have on in the kit already? I know I should be thinking more clearly, but this pre-install has got me a bit frazzled.

the dynamic tensioner was included in the setup #2 which had a revised idler plate.

There is no dynamic tensioner on the car itself out the door from factory where the accessory belt is run.
