BPV????

BPV????

Has anyone installed a BPV with their S/C system, or is it not necessary to have one? I know that relieving pressure is a good thing, but is it needed?

and I mean a bypass valve... not a blow off valve.

Bump... Any thoughts, I have a friend who put a BPV on his TC TRD s/c, but that is like the RIPPmods S/C. I was told it is nice to have one, but i do not see where one can be placed.. anywhere, unless you find out where the air recirculates by the MAF, and have it on your intake tube, but again i do not see where this would work at all.

Anyone dealt with this or have heard anything about it? I'm just courious.

if you have a TRD s/c then it allready has an air purge system. Since it is a roots, the rotors are always pumping and spinning. Activated by the loss of vacuum from the lower manifold, the actuator will close and thus forcing all that air into the motor. once you lift off the throttle, the actuator opens up again venting unneeded air pressure.
