Ok so ive had the boost gauge held onto my pillar with 3m two sided tape for now, i need to learn how to get the left pillar off so i can drill a hole and mount it...anyone know how to do this?


Here's how it looks right now, i wanna keep it in the same spot but i want it Mounted Correctly now.

Pry from the top with your fingers and it come right off.. then wiggle it around to release from the bottom of the dash.. Also is that your ride in that pic ?

take a flat head stick it in the top part of the A pillar, pull outward, a clip will pop out. from then on just slide ur finger/hand down the pillar while pulling out. do it gently and it'll be a breeze. doesn't get easier than that.

where do u mean "ontop" or anywhere on the top section of the pillar?

honestly Dawgz, there is really no other way you can really access a point to take off that A-Pillar other than from that spot I mentioned. good luck. and don't force it out.!! lool.

seriously, you dont need tools or anything, i took mine off when i was test fitting a triple pod... just pull and the tabs will release, my gen 3 camry was also like that. you should be able to pull it off

sweeeeeeeeet, it came out real nice, installed real nice too. Ill take pics, while im at it, i can take both pillars off, and to take the Roof carpet off to get my safc wires into the sunglass holder, all it takes it the two screws each for the sungaurd flap rite?

So here's the thing, i want to get the roof's liner or carpet, whatever u call it off..or partially suspended so i can run the SAFCII wires from the sunglass holder towards the rightside(passenger side Front) near the ECU (behind the glove box).

How do i go about doing this? i saw two screws that hold the base of the sunvisor, and then one screw that holds the sunvisor when its not in use...here are some pics.

Ok, so but even if i remove the screw for the tab(picture below) its hard to remove that little piece, do i just pull it off or does it screw off or what?
