Umm down time yes, because I was mod aholic and did too many things which caused me to forget one valcum hose and frieked out for 2 days not knowing it was just one hose.

Repairs yes.. I hate dirt on my SC so I took it out and cleaned it.. Good repair.

Install new plugs just before you put the S/C on (if you need them). The rear bank is almost impossible to get to once the S/C is installed.

I couldn't agree more. It's impossible to get to even in NA form. Also make sure you do the appropriate upgrades if you go over 4 psi. Even at 4psi I've had knock sensors blow. Jon.

I have never had a problem with the s/c. I did have to have a new o2 sensor in the back bank relpaced so that was $$ but it happened two years after I put the s/c in... so its not like it happened a week later.

I stalled on the freeway once. I opened the hood and saw a dead rat by the pulley assembly and the SC belt was off. It was a pain putting that belt back on with no tools but I did it. only took an hour. lol
