hey guys i have a few ?'s for you! first of all last week i got home and shut my door and heard this rattle...long story short....it was my exhaust!! i have a greddy and there is a small tubular piece that runs down the middle of the exhaust (if you look in the tail pipe) that had fallen off and was rattling around!!! so i grabbed it with a pair of needle nose! now my car has a little deeper tone...will this cause any problems....i'm going to try to reinstall it somehow! then lastnight i washed the lara and put it away! this morning i get it out, drive it about five miles and i get a cel! all of a sudden, i have limited power....65mph max! so i stop and reset the battery for a minute and the cel went off so i went straight home and parked it.....now it runs great! if i get another cel i will run the codes, but does anyone have any clue what it might be....visually everything looks great under the hood....help!!!

i think how long the cel stays off varies between cars. I have heard of people driving around with it off but when mine blew i would reset the battery and as soon as i was rolling good it would come on. if it stays off ure lucky, and if it comes back on get the code it will tell you which one it is. Bank 1 is the back and bank 2 is the front

I bet its a knock sensor... because 5 PSI isn't for the stock fuel system... I bet if it is a knock sensor it will be back on within 50-75 miles

the knock sensors are under the lower intake, in the v of the block. so remove supercharger, remove lower intake.

BTW the search funtion will teach you alot. everybody goes through this at one point. i personally have had success wiring my front sensor to both inputs on the ecu. I believe that the supercharger sets off the sensor from time to time retarding timing and killing power. so with the front one being further away(not directly underneath it) i get more advance and therefore power. I run very high octane fuel(airstrip cocktail) mixed with 93 so i wont detonate.

just swapping pumps solves the fuel starvation problem, along with jims upgrade. running 5.5 measly psi only requires these mods. and y isnt it tuned anyway? who is wasting their ftc? Ill bet it is doing something or it wouldnt be on there.

UNDER THE LOWER INTAKE in the v of the motor. its an easy fix and the gaskets are reusable. you cant see it until you take off the manifold.
