My cars at the supra shop here in Lakeworth Texas to see if I can unlean it and put some real power to the ground. Only thing is that I cant decide. Run the stock pulley or run the 5.5 pulley? Now Im not going to push my luck on the motor in this 105 degrees weather although I feel sorry for Greg in his 118 :( (feel sorry for you bro. Thats hot!!) . I will be tuning the car to run alittle rich which Ross the owner of the supra shop recommended himself. Ive seen GREAT work of his and he owns a 3 of the supras himself. And I have no seen ONE bad work of his. He only picks who he will work with. And I know his daughter so me and him are great friends. His shop is well kept clean and no cars are left outside. All of his customer car are covered in the shop daily and even has AC. Very good guy.

Anywho my car will be with him for 2 weeks for a 5 hour job. All for safe keepings and tuning.

I cant decide. daily 5.5 psi or daily stock pulley. With the 5.5 and running a very lean 13.7 on stock injectors I ran 243whp 224wtq. With the new injectors I know I can cram more.. But in your opinion for DAILY driving with occasion woop your ass times, what do you think?

4 or 5.5?

where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

 Hey DatZ,

With the Stock pulley, you'll have better fuel economy. Now with the 5.5psi, the car will be very hungry for fuel. I remember getting ruffly 13 mpg on 6psi... It leaned out pretty bad  . This was before the APEXI Super AFC2... The rings were pretty much toast at this point. Lots of blow by. :-? Just with expensive gas prices at the pump, I'd stick with the 4psi.

Best of luck Bro. 8)

Hey Dat,

I still have my 6lb. pulley on & am using it as a daily driver. I think you'll be alright as long as you discipline yourself with your foot, especially in that hot weather. With the bigger injectors, etc., fuel consumption will be a lot different, so watching your foot will be even more important. Just make sure you pick your races well 8)

go for the 5.5lbs pully and tune it to be rich. I'd rather be running rich and safe than lean/just right. In that hot weather of yours, I'd want to have all the insurance I can get.

I got 26 mpg highway with 5.5psi, 18-21 mpg around town and I was not easy on it.

Sounds like he will tune it conservatively, if it were me, I would keep 5.5psi.
